The Ken Tetley Award

At the conclusion of the 2022/2023 season, the committee agreed to acknowledge the player who took the most assists for the season across all the grades. The recipient would receive the Kenn Tetley Award, named after former club games record holder and wicket keeping legend, Kenn Tetley, who served the club for 35 years and playing 304 games (most as wicket keeper).

As the award was only created in time for the 2022/2023 season, our club statistician, Leigh Gunn is madly reviewing the club record books to go back in time and acknowledge historic recipients. Starting with the modern history books that are readily accessible online and date back to 2001, followed by our foundation years as the St. Leonards Cricket Club, 1960 through to 1972.
